Preventing Deadly Stunting Repeatedly, The Nest Of A Jumbo Tawon At The House Of A Palangkaraya Resident Was Evacuated By Officers

JAKARTA - A jumbo wasp nest measuring 40x40 cm in the yard of a resident of Jalan Manduhara, Kereng Bangkira Village, Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan (Central Kalimantan), was evacuated.

The Coordinator of Call Center 112 of Palangkaraya City Sucipto revealed that the Vespa or Ndas Tawon nest was evacuated after his party received a report from residents.

"So this resident is afraid of being a victim of wasp stings, such as the case of an elderly man in Palangkaraya City who died from being stung by a honey bee while going fishing and looking for honey some time ago," he said in Palangkaraya, Tuesday, November 12, which was confiscated by Antara.

After receiving reports from residents, his party together with the Rescue Team then went to the location to identify the whereabouts of the wasp's suggestion and found that the Vespa Tawon made a nest on the head of the lighting at the residents' yard.

"After identifying the presence of the Vespa Tawon nest, we then deployed a team equipped with safe personal protective equipment to evacuate the wasp's nest," he said.

Sucipto revealed that the large number of children playing in the residential area was also one of the considerations for the owner of the house to ask for the wasp's nest to be evacuated.

Although until it was evacuated there were no victims who were stinged, residents were very worried after learning about the Vespa Tawon nest.

"During the evacuation process there were no obstacles, because previously we paralyzed the wasp using a special liquid so as not to fly and endanger other residents during the process," he said.

Sucipto also asked all residents of Palangkaraya City to immediately report to Call Center 112 when they found a Vespa Tawon nest or other reptiles in the vicinity of residential areas.

This, he said, was done so that in the future there would be no casualties, be it injuries or casualties, due to the presence of dangerous animals around the residential areas of Palangkaraya City.

"If you don't recognize the type of animal, don't dare to handle it yourself. Immediately call the Palangkaraya City 112 Call Center so that it can be dealt with quickly in accordance with operational standards for handling," said Sucipto.
