The Story Is Inspired And Once Appointed In A Film, Take A Peek At The Portrait Of Delisa, A Tsunami Survivor Of Aceh

YOGYAKARTA In 2011 a film was released which was inspired by the story of the Aceh tsunami survivor that occurred on December 26, 2004, Hafahan Salat Delisa. This film adapts based on a novel written by Tere Liye. Many people think that the story is inspired by Delisa's story when dealing with unusual situations when natural disasters occur. This Acehnese woman who was born in 1996, named Delisa Fitri Rahmadhani, who is one of the tsunami survivors. Currently, she works as an employee at Bank Syariah Indonesia at Aceh, a staff member of Human Capital Business Partner as an administrative executor. She was also present invited to various talk shows and learned to be a master of ceremonies.

During the devastating natural disaster that occurred in Aceh, Delisa sat in grade 1 which had just moved up to grade 2 of elementary school. Delisa completed her undergraduate education in the Management Economy at the Sabang Economic College (STIES) in mid-2023.

Delisa lost her right foot during the disaster. According to him, launching the YouTube account of Serambinews, he also lost his mother and two siblings. He added that life must continue to run. With this spirit, he responds to sad events with adaptive experience in the future.

nineteen years ago, Delisa was seven years old. The tsunami occurred on Sunday, when there were two earthquakes. The first earthquake occurred, a panic prompted Delisa and her mother and sister to run out of the house. After the first earthquake, the sea water receded. The second earthquake occurred, Delisa was evacuated by her mother to a safe place. Her mother came home with important files and came up with lait water.

Delisa separated from her family, ran away with other survivors until she arrived at the bridge intersection and met her mother again. Unfortunately, Delisa had seen her brother having an accident because of the panic road situation. Meanwhile, the big waves chased behind her, until she grabbed Delisa's hand and the mother separated. For two days Delisa survived with her feet stuck in a coconut tree. Then he was helped by a father and treated for three days. However, due to limited medical equipment at home, Delisa's right leg had to be amputated.

Delisa considered it a miracle, she remembered the name of the mother, address, father's name, and all contacts. Delisa met her father who was out of town during the disaster.

Delisa's loss takes a long process to bounce back. She thinks a lot of help from friends, the surrounding environment, and parents makes her stronger.

Delisa, who survived the Aceh tsunami, believed that when God took something valuable, there were positive things about the loss he experienced. The story is very inspiring, this sad memory of the past, he considers as da'wah that tells the greatness of the Almighty God.
