Ducati's Warning To Racers At MotoGP Barcelona: Don't Act Stupidly
JAKARTA - Ducati's two manufacturers, Jorge Martin and Francesco Bagnaia, will undergo the final series to fight for the 2024 MotoGP world title at the 2024 Barcelona Grand Prix on 16-17 November 2024.
Ducati Corse's team manager, Davide Tardozzi, asked all Ducati riders not to do stupid things that could damage the course of the world title race between Martin vs Bagnaia.
"We've been saying what we've been saying since the middle of the year, don't do stupid things between you!"
"We don't want any (hostility) to be bad, or something like that among our best riders," Tardozzi was quoted as saying by Crash on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
Ahead of the important party, Tardozzi previously confirmed that there would be no order team to assist Bagnaia in the 2024 Barcelona MotoGP.

The reason is, Enea Bastianini, who is Bagnaia's teammate, also has the opportunity to finish third against Marc Marquez.
So far Bastianini is only one point behind Marquez. This condition prevented Ducati Corse from asking Bastianini to help Bagnaia.
"This condition is very difficult because Martin and Bagnaia compete to become number one. However, two riders who can help this situation one way or another, are Marc Marquez and Enea (Bastianini). They compete to finish third," said Tardozzi.
"In the end, third place in the championship is not a bad thing for many reasons. So, I think it will be difficult to discuss things like that (team orders)."
"In addition, I want to let drivers play freely for their own championships," said the manager.
Ahead of the final series of the season, Martin has a 24-point advantage over Bagnaia. The competition between the two to fight for the world title is confirmed to be hot.
