Receiving Nokia's Visit, Komdigi Discusses Digital Infrastructure Development Cooperation
JAKARTA - Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Meutya Hafid received a visit from Chief Executive Officer Nokia Peka Laundmark at the Komdigi Ministry Office on Monday, November 11.
During the meeting, Meutya mentioned that she received various offers of cooperation in digital infrastructure development, which is expected to accelerate the development of national digital infrastructure.
Because according to him, to build large digital infrastructure in Indonesia, various collaborations from many sectors, industries, and stakeholders are needed.
Meutya said, there is a possibility that the government's cooperation with Nokia is in the form of strengthening digital connectivity with various choices of existing technology.
Nokia continues to transform and has advantages that have lasted a long time. We hope that Nokia can provide added value for digital infrastructure and the digital ecosystem in Indonesia," he said.
Tidak lupa, Menkomdigi juga menegaskan pentingnya aspek keamanan digital dalam bekerja sama dengan perusahaan global teknologi.

Prior to Nokia, the Minister of Communication and Trade had also met other technology companies such as Microsoft and Yandex Group who were interested in investing in developing an artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem in Indonesia.
Komdigi hopes that the commitment of the IT companies is able to provide added value, especially in empowering the community through AI technology, supporting the development of public organizations, community empowerment, and maintaining information security.
