KOTAK Presents Healing Sessions With Spectators At Two Decade Concerts
JAKARTA - The KOTAK band is preparing many things for the KoTAK Two Decade Concert which will be held at the Senayan Basketball Hall GBK, Central Jakarta on Saturday, November 23.
In celebrating the 20th anniversary, Tantri (vocals), Cella (guitar), and Chua (bass) will involve several collaborations, such as Marcello Tahitoe alias Ello, Sara Wijayanto, Yacko, to Sean Siburian, son of Pay Burman.
"And specifically again, we invite his son Mas Pay Burman, Sean. If we have collaborated with his father, now we bring his son," said Tantri at a press conference in Thamrin, Central Jakarta, Monday, November 11.
"So, last time we played at Mas Pay's house, we saw Sean was already good at playing the guitar, so we invited him to play at the concert later," he continued.
It didn't stop there, KOTAK also presented a special session with Adji Santosopputro, a graduate of the Faculty of Psychology UGM who initiated the mental health service of the Santhosa Emotional Healing Center.
"Our collaboration will not only be in terms of music, but we will also collaborate with Mas Adji Santosoputro as a healer," said Tantri.

At the concert later there will be a healing session together. So the audience will study with the song KOTAK, which is original It's Okay Not To Be Okay, added the vocalist.
Meanwhile, Cella, who is tasked with preparing performances in terms of music and arrangement, added that KOTAK will appear different from other stages that have been visited. They will perform about 24 songs in a two-hour show.
"Here we will bring songs that are rare or we have never even performed on stage. In terms of arrangement, we have also prepared a new arrangement that we have never done before," said Cella.
For information, the concert, which was held by Northstar Entertainment as the promoter and Megapro Communications as the event organizer, is a celebration of the 20th anniversary of KOTAK's journey in the national music industry with its fans.
Tantri said the preparations made by KOTAK had entered the final stage. Each personnel carries out their respective duties to prepare for a special show.
"I don't know why I feel different enthusiasm at this concert. If you ask me where the preparations have come, it's just a matter of finishing," he said.
"This concert is not only a sign that the band is 20 years old, but also more as a manifestation of gratitude for the support of many parties, especially KOTAK Relatives, who have been loyal to accompany our journey so far. So, we will give our best and various surprises at the concert later," concluded Tantri.
