Lamine Yamal And Robert Lewandowski Absent For The National Team
JAKARTA - Two Barcelona players, Lamine Yamal and Robert Lewandowski will miss their respective national teams during the international break.
Yamal has withdrawn from the Spanish national team for two UEFA Nations League matches due to an ankle injury. He is expected to be out for the next three weeks.
The 17-year-old player was absent from Barcelona's 0-1 loss to Real Sociedad on Monday, November 11, 2024, early morning WIB.
He picked up the injury in last week's Champions League match against Red Star Belgrade.
Further examination on Monday, November 11, 2024, revealed that he had not recovered from the injury.
Girona's winger, Bryan Gil, was finally called up to replace Yamal in the Spanish national team for the match against Denmark and Switzerland.
Yamal is also likely to miss Barcelona's first game after the international break, while traveling against Celta Vigo in La Liga on November 23, 2024.

Hansi Flick's troops will then host French club Brest in the Champions League on November 26, 2024, before traveling to Las Palmas in La Liga on November 30, 2024.
Meanwhile, striker Robert Lewandowski has also resigned from international duty with Poland after suffering a back injury while losing at Real Sociedad headquarters.
Lewandowski will be out for about 10 days. Barcelona confirmed in a statement that he would miss his country's match against Portugal and Scotland.
With Raphinha, Lewandowski and Yamal have helped Barcelona start the impressive season under Flick, who replaced Xavi Hernandez as manager last summer.
Lewandowski has scored 19 goals. Then, Yamal also contributed six goals and eight assists to help Barcelona move up to the top of La Liga, in addition to winning three of their opening four games in the Champions League.
However, with Yamal's absence, they failed to score for the first time under Flick when they lost against Real Sociedad. Barcelona's seven consecutive victories in all competitions were stopped.
