After Free, Lucas's Lawyers Immediately Charge KPK About Confiscated Goods

JAKARTA - Lucas's lawyer Aldres asked the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to return his client's belongings that had been used as evidence. That is by the decision of the Supreme Court (MA).

"By the provisions, if there is still supposed to be returned according to the verdict", Aldres as Lucas' attorney told reporters, Friday, April 9.

Aldres also mentioned that there are some items that KPK must return to his clients. But it's not clear what kind of items it is.

"There are some that are indeed determined by the judge in the docket there are true to be returned to the party from which the goods were confiscated", he said.

However, Aldres said he did not know about Lucas' property being auctioned. He said, if it is already sold the proceeds of the sale should be given to his client.

"If for the auctioned goods I do not know. Including in Lucas's case, I don't know if it's sold or not. The auction result is given from where the item was confiscated", he said.

Lucas was officially released after undergoing detention at Tangerang Class 1 Prison. He was freed after a request for review (PK) for the case hindered the investigation of the suspect of former Lippo Group official, Eddy Sindoro, granted by the Supreme Court (MA).
