Uncle Birin Leads Apple At His Office After Reportedly Missing, KPK: Just Wait For The Developments

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) does not want to talk much after the Governor of South Kalimantan Sahbirin Noor or Uncle Birin was seen in his office. KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika only made sure the team was still working.

"Currently, the deputy for prosecution, especially the Directorate of Investigation, is working," Tessa told reporters in a written statement, Monday, November 11.

"So we'll just have to wait for the progress update," continued the spokesman with the investigator's background.

Reported by ANTARA, Uncle Birin, who for a long time was invisible after being a suspect in the alleged bribery, appeared to lead an apple. He appeared to be wearing full official clothes and his presence was greeted by the state civil servants (ASN).

In his remarks, he said he had been in Banua. Uncle Birin later admitted that he was happy to be back in his office.

"I am very happy to see all of your faces today. Thank God, I hope Allah SWT always provides safety to all of us and Banua we become thayyibatun wa rabbun ghofur baldatun," said Uncle Birin on Monday, November 11.

Furthermore, Uncle Birin also advised all ASN in South Kalimantan to work with enthusiasm, always carry out their duties according to their respective main duties, and complete their work targets. He also reminded the importance of the success of the food security program and always establishing synergy with districts/cities throughout South Kalimantan.

As previously reported, Sahbirin Noor or Uncle Birin was named a suspect in receiving bribes along with four other people. They are the Head of the Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) Office of the South Kalimantan Provincial Government Ahmad Solhan (SOL), the Head of Cipta Karya as well as the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) of the South Kalimantan Provincial Government Yulianti Erlynah (YUL), the Management of the Tahfidz Darussalam House as well as the collector of money or fee Ahmad (AMD) and Plt. Head of the Household of the Governor of South Kalimantan Agustya Febry Andrean (FEB).

Meanwhile, as the suspect givers, namely Sugeng Wahyudi (YUD) and Andi Susanto (AND) as private parties. A total of seven suspects were named by the KPK which began with a hand arrest operation (OTT) on Sunday, October 6.

This gift was made after Sugeng and Andi got three projects in South Kalimantan. The details:

1. Construction of Football Fields in the Integrated Sports Area of South Kalimantan Province with selected provider PT WKM (Wismani Kharya Mandiri) with a work value of IDR 23 billion;

2. Integrated Samsat Development with selected provider PT HIU (Haryadi Indo Utama) with a work value of IDR 22 billion;

3. Development of Swimming Pools in the Integrated Sports Area of South Kalimantan Province with the selected provider CV BBB (Bunt Banua Bersama) with a work value of IDR 9 billion.
