"Report Mas Vice President" Receives 60 Complaints From Residents On The First Day Of Launch

The public complaint service "Lapor Mas Vice President" initiated by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka received a total of 60 complaints from residents on the first day the channel was launched at the Vice Presidential Secretariat building, Jakarta.

Deputy for Administration of the Vice Presidential Secretariat Sapto Harjono said Vice President Gibran wanted periodic reports related to complaints from residents received by the Vice Presidential Secretariat team.

"He really needs a daily, monthly report recap, we will report it. Hopefully it will be his material for policy making," said Sapto as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, November 11.

Sapto said Vice President Gibran, although did not directly monitor the public complaint process at the launch, checked daily reports regularly.

According to Sapto, the complaint channel "Lapor Mas Vice President" was launched to make it easier for people to submit complaints, complaints to aspirations to the government.

In the process, the Setwapres team will collect all complaints that have been reported by the public, and coordinate with ministries/agencies, as well as local governments to follow up.

People who have received ID numbers on their reports can review the progress of complaints through written WhatsApp contacts, namely at 081117042207, or through the official website of thewapreslapor.go.id.

"They can check the extent of the handling and for service standards, we have 14 days for the analysis process and will be followed up with ministries/agencies and local governments," said Sapto.

Residents from various regions also used the "Lapor Mas Vice President" channel to complain about their problems. One of the complainants, Irwannur, from Maluku complained about his asset land which was built by the PLN tower, but the land had not yet received payment from PLN.

"My problem has been reported to the local PLN and was met with the Maluku regional government. However, it was difficult for us to meet with the PLN leadership, our arrival was rejected by the security forces," said Irwannur.

In line with that, Ali Chandra also experienced other land dispute problems from Tangerang. Ali said that the case he had submitted to the Tangerang District Court since 2011 did not find a solution. The 4.5 hectare land he claimed had been paid turned out to be in dispute with PT Pembangunan Perisai Baja and Alam Sutera.

"I have reported the police, there is evidence, but the legal process is not running. The officers who helped were transferred to other places because they were helping, while I was like an ant fighting an elephant," said Ali.

The "Report Mas Vice President" service at the Vice Presidential Secretariat Building, Vice Presidential Palace, Jakarta continues to open with a schedule from Monday to Friday from 08.00 to 14.00 WIB.
