Chelsea Are More Confident After The Series Against Arsenal
JAKARTA - Chelsea earned one point when they hosted Arsenal in the 11th week of the 2024/2025 Premier League at Stamford Bridge, Sunday, November 10, 2024.
The Blues survived the defeat through Pedro Neto's goal (70') after Arsenal took the lead through Gabriel Martinelli (60').
The result made Chelsea Manager, Enzo Maresca, increasingly confident in competing at the top of the Premier League standings.
Chelsea are now in third place in the Premier League, behind Liverpool and Manchester City, even past Arsenal who are in fourth place.
Maresca's confidence cannot be separated from Chelsea's success in holding the Gunners series which is a strong team in the race for the league title.

"I've said many times, do you think we deserve to lose to Liverpool? No. We will soon win a game like this (against a strong team)."
"The performance is important. If you draw tonight when you don't play well, you'll be happy."
"However, when we were away against Bournemouth we didn't deserve to win, but we won."
"Against Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest, we deserved to win, and we didn't win. We will win soon, our performance is good," said Maresca.
Maresca is based on three of his tough competing clubs, namely Arsenal, Manchester City, and Liverpool.
Especially for the Gunners, the results of the series are considered sufficient because Arteta has been with his troops for a long time. Likewise The Citizens with Pep Guardiola.
While the Reds despite being both handled by new coaches like Chelsea, Jurgen Klopp's transition to Arne Slot went smoothly.
Therefore, Maresca welcomed one point against the Gunners. So, they are confident to face Liverpool and Manchester City in the next meeting because Chelsea lost in the first encounter.
"We are very happy. For me, we are lagging behind clubs like Manchester City and Arsenal because they work every day with the same manager."
"We are behind them, but Chelsea is one of the biggest clubs in the world. We need to compete and try to win the game."
"We will soon win a game like this," said Maresca again.
