Kremlin Banks News Of Putin-Trump's Phone Call
JAKARTA - The Kremlin has denied reports of US President-elect Donald Trump speaking with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and considers the media report mere fiction.
The Washington Post first reported the phone call was made on Thursday. Reuters also reported the phone call took place.
Putin has no specific plans to talk to Trump at this time, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

Dmitry Peskov previously said President Vladimir Putin was ready to discuss Ukraine with US elected president Donald Trump, but that did not mean he was willing to change Moscow's demands.
"The president has never said that the purpose of special military operations has changed. On the other hand, he has repeatedly said that the goal remains the same," Peskov said.
"All of this concerns the security interests of our country, the security interests of the Russian people who live there. Therefore, there is no talk of any changes here," he stressed.
