DNA Of Child Victims Of Rape In Purworejo Not Suitable For Perpetrators

Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Central Java Police, Kombes Dwi Subagio, said that the results of DNA tests or genetic tests from D (15), a victim of sexual violence in Purworejo Regency, were not identical to the perpetrators who had been suspects in the crime.

"The results of the DNA test are known to be non-identical with the suspect AIS," said Kombes Dwi Subagio as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, November 11.

According to him, cases of alleged sexual violence against siblings in Purworejo Regency are still growing.

Kombes Dwi said that there were still several other suspected perpetrators who had been reported to the police.

"The investigation will continue," he said.

The police appealed to people who know or experience sexual violence to dare to report to the police.

Previously, the Central Java Regional Police named three suspects in the alleged violence against brothers and sisters with the initials K (17) and D (15) in Purworejo Regency.

The case was handled in two separate police reports.

In the case with victim K, the police each named PAP (15) and FMR (14) as suspects.

For the report with victim D, the police named AIS (19) as a suspect.
