Manulife Indonesia Launches Manulife ID Application: Optimizing Digital Insurance Services

JAKARTA - In line with the rapid development of digital technology in Indonesia, Manulife Indonesia has changed the name of its digital customer service platform from MiAccount to Manulife ID.

Manulife ID now, apart from being accessible through the website, can also be accessed via an easy-to-use version of the mobile application, available for download on the Play Store for Android devices and App Stores for iOS devices.

"We understand that accessibility and convenience are key to increasing customer satisfaction, and this application is designed to meet these needs," said Shierly Ge, Chief Marketing Officer of Manulife Indonesia in a written statement on Monday, November 11.

Shierly also said that the name change to Manulife ID underscores the responsibility of Indonesia's Manulife to always answer the needs and exceed the expectations of customers in this digital era.

The Manulife ID application is equipped with a feature that allows customers to access policy information, policy status, policy value, claim status check, premium maturity date, payment history, and policy change history.

Customers can also update contact data, make fund switching (changes in investment fund allocation) and make premium payments online.

In addition, there are also additional security features, including biometric security for safe customer login, which have also been implemented to protect customer information.

"This digital transformation also reflects our strong ambition to be a leader in digital customer service by allowing customers to manage their policies with just one control from their ends, anytime and anywhere," he concluded.

Manulife Indonesia is determined to continue to develop its digital capabilities, as well as present new features that are relevant and useful for customers in line with their growing needs.
