Denying The Statement Of The Former CEO, Ryu Hwayoung Affirms The Existence Of Bullying In T-ARA

JAKARTA - Ryu Hwayoung made a statement about the T-ARA group after the appearance of their former agency CEO, Kim Kwang Soo to the public. Hwayoung himself left the T-ARA in 2012 which became the beginning of the alleged negotiations in the group.

Kim Kwang Soo appeared on a television show and claimed he always supported T-ARA's original member career. He also felt he had to terminate Hwayoung and Hyoyoung's contract related to T-ARA.

Hearing this, Ryu Hwayoung made a statement on Instagram through his latest post. He opened his voice for the first time regarding alleged bullying and leg injuries and questioned why Kim Kwang Soo was discussing the issue after 12 years.

I thought over and over again, hundreds, thousands of times and chose to write this message. In 2012, as a figure of the T-ARA Bullying' incident I caused controversy and witnessed the disbandment of my idol's group T-ARA. Regardless of who was wrong or right, I lived well and always felt guilty to fans who love T-ARA and separate members of mine under the issue of bullying and conflict wrote Ryu Hwayoung.

"For 12 years, I brought a label 'involved in a bullying case' choosing not to respond to rumors and living with consequences. Although his disbandment was very surprising, the presence of the T-ARA played a role in me today. Despite being traumatized, I tried to remain silent. But after hearing CEO Kim Kwang Soo's statement at the event, I didn't understand why he raised this issue after 12 years with the wrong claim, "he said.

It was discovered that after Hwayoung left, T-ARA reportedly bullied which caused their group to get criticism from the public. Several years later, a staff member admitted Hwayoung faked a leg injury incident at the airport to avoid T-ARA's schedule.

The statement made the public support T-ARA and criticized Ryu Hwayoung so that he was decided from several acting projects.

First, the fact that I was bullied is true. Claims that I don't experience bullying and pretending to be a victim are wrong. As a new member of T-ARA, I work hard so as not to burden the original members but original members often corner me with violence and verbal. The reason I survive is because I believe everything will change if I work hard," said Ryu Hwayoung.

Second, after I injured my leg, I apologized many times to the members. I can't appear in Japan performing I asked the director to let me sing one song because I feel guilty to the members who work hard. Three, it's true that I received nail care at the hotel but it's a normal thing at T-ARA during our activities," he continued.

The Age of Youth star claims he was asked to remain silent about this case because he has a lot of evidence. However, he became even more disappointed after the former CEO terminated his brother Ryu Hyoyoung's contract.

"In the end, I came out without accepting an apology and silence for 12 years. After that, T-ARA members appeared on television shows and said they never bullied and finished peacefully. Seeing the show, my parents and I felt sad because there was nothing we could do," he said.

"Right now, I don't have an agency and myself. I realized I couldn't fight someone influential in the entertainment industry for 40 years. Even so, I spoke because I believed the truth of what happened," concluded Hwayoung.

Kim Kwang Soo and T-ARA have not responded to Ryu Hwayoung's statement. On the other hand, T-ARA is still active in a career until now.
