Mazda MX-30 Electric Car Officially Launches In Indonesia, Pegged At IDR 860 Million
JAKARTA - PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia (EMI) officially introduced the first electric vehicle (EV) from the Mazda brand for the Indonesian market, MX-30.
Previously, the car in the form of a crossover was exhibited at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2023 and marked the brand's first step in the Indonesian electrification market.

Just like other Mazda models, MX-30 is designed to carry the Jinba-Ittai design philosophy that focuses on pleasure in driving.
The outer look of the MX-30 has a minimalist impression with a unique style. The front and back have a lamp design that is imprinted, leaving a modern and premium impression in their class.
One of the highlights of this car is coming with 'Freestyle Doors', which is designed to prioritize comfort and security. This door allows passengers to have wide access so that it makes it easier to get in and out of the vehicle.
The interior is designed by focusing on comfort. The interior has a cork layer to increase beauty but remains comfortable when occupied.
The Japanese manufacturer also uses sustainable materials using Breathe Fabric, a cloth made from recycled plastic bottles specifically designed to be installed at the top of the MX-30 gate trim.
Bose's audio system is also ready to accompany travel with 12-speakers strategically positioned to produce optimal sound quality.

The crossover is powered by an e-Skyactiv electric motor with a power of 143 ps and a 271 Nm torque, as well as a front-wheel drive and direct-driven transmission system. In addition, the car is equipped with an Electronic G-Vectoring Control Plus (e-GVC Plus) feature that is useful in vehicle stability by adjusting the torque to make it easier to turn.
This vehicle is equipped with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 35.5 kWh and is able to cover a distance of up to 200 km according to WLTP calculations.
Inaugurated to the Indonesian market, Mazda MX-30 is priced at IDR 860 million on The Road DKI Jakarta. This price includes a wall-charger and portable-charger device.
However, buyers can choose the Premium Color option at a cost of IDR 4 million for the Soul Red Crystal Metallic with Black Side Panels and Roof, Polymetal Gray Metallic, and Machine Gray Metallic.
