Maximizing Pencak Silat That Has Not Received Special Attention From West Java

BANDUNG - There is a lot of local wisdom that West Java has. One of them is pencak silat. However, a number of cultural lovers still feel that this arts and martial arts have not received the maximum attention from the central and regional governments.

The Pancasila Movement Volunteer Committee (KRPP) Team 8 moved towards Bandung, West Java. At the Sari Hotel Bandung, KRPP Leader Team 8 Arif Hariman accompanied by the Secretary General of Mangatur Simanjuntak met with one of the cultural figures in West Java, Robby Maulana Zulkarnaen and Pemuda figure Deni Ahmad Soleh.

The Simanjuntak management highlighted that it is time for a forum to focus on program development and supervision so that consistency with potential can be achieved properly. The place is not only focused on activities, but also responsible for periodic development to maintain the local wisdom of the nation's ancestral heritage.

"Pancasila as the nation's ideology is very close to culture as evidenced by the 4th precept of Pancasila that the Deliberation was taken as a way to make decisions without hurting minorities but the common goal was achieved, besides that the mandate of the 1945 Constitution article 32 paragraph 1," he explained, Thursday, November 7.

"The state advances Indonesia's national culture in the midst of world differences by guaranteeing people's freedom in maintaining and developing cultural values," he continued.

As a cultural figure in West Java, Robby Maulana Zulkarnaen has high hopes for the meeting. He wants to immediately form a forum that can accommodate the arts and culture development program and the West Java Sunda which aims to hone and maintain character in the younger generation.

Deni Ahmad Soleh also explained that he wanted to participate in maintaining and preserving culture as a benchmark for the dignity and identity of the nation and as a successor, he was obliged to participate in protecting and preserving it.
