Juventus Is Currently Struggling To Finish In The Top Four Of The Italian League

JAKARTA - Juventus defeated Napoli 2-1 in a Serie A postponement match at Allianz Stadium on Wednesday, April 7.

The home side's winning goals were scored by Cristiano Ronaldo in the 13th minute and Paulo Dybala in the 73rd minute respectively. Napoli's goal was scored by Lorenzo Insigne in the 90th minute.

Juventus are currently in one of the toughest moments. Andrea Pirlo's side was knocked out of the Champions League after losing to Porto and almost certainly failed to win the scudetto for the tenth time in a row.

Juve finished third in the standings with a collection of 59 points. They are 12 points adrift of league leaders Inter Milan with nine games remaining.

Juventus all-rounder Danilo insists that his team is struggling to finish in the top four and are not competing for the Italian League title for the 2020/21 season.

"We know how important this match is. We have difficulties, but if we bear them together and are confident in our abilities, then we will win in the end", Danilo was quoted as saying by Antara.

"We have to keep going like this and keep performing well".

"In the end, great teams are consistent teams. We're struggling this season with that, but for us, we're a little bit more experienced to be in control of the team and I think we can go a long way".

"We were the first to be disappointed to lose points and knew that if we performed better in the so-called small game, we would compete for the title", added Danilo.

'Now, we're here fighting for a place in the Champions League zone and we've got to fight week by week'.

With Pirlo, Juve has won the Italian Super Cup. The second most realistic trophy for them this season is the Coppa Italia when they face Atalanta in the final, next May.
