The Minister Of Trade Ensures That Cooking Oil Stock Is Safe Ahead Of Christmas And New Year
JAKARTA - The Minister of Trade (Mendag) Budi Santoso ensured that the supply of cooking oil was still safe and sufficient ahead of the celebration of Christmas and New Year's Day (Nataru).
It is known that today, the price of simple packaged cooking oil fell 0.05 percent or Rp10 to Rp18,280 per kg; as well as bulk cooking oil decreased 0.12 percent or Rp20 to Rp16,740 per kg.
While supply is still safe, yes. Maybe because the need is increasing, but supply is still safe," Budi said during the "MSME Gathering Indogrosir throughout Jabodetabek" event which was held at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Jakarta, Antara, Sunday, November 10.
Budi said that his party will continue to monitor and coordinate with the local government (Pemda) to ensure that the stock of cooking oil is sufficient.
His party is also committed to keeping cooking oil prices stable so that they can be reached by the public towards the end of the year.
"We continue to coordinate. Prices are also stable, relatively stable, but we are not silent, we are moving with the regions, through the Food Task Force, with local governments, agencies, distributors and stakeholders to secure Nataru," he said.
The National Food Agency (Bapanas) recorded the price of a number of food commodities in general fluctuating today. Garlic rose slightly by Rp440 to Rp40,810 per kilogram (kg).
Based on data from the Bapanas Price Panel at 10.00 WIB, food prices at the retail level nationally, premium rice rose 0.19 percent or Rp30 to Rp15,460 per kg.
Meanwhile, medium rice fell 0.15 percent or Rp20 to Rp13,480 per kg; then Bulog's rice supply stability and food prices (SPHP) rose 0.16 percent or Rp20 to Rp12,570 per kg.
Next, the onion commodity rose 2.14 percent or Rp750 to Rp35,780 per kg; as well as garlic rose 1.09 percent or Rp440 to Rp40,810 per kg.
Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili commodity fell 0.04 percent or Rp10 to Rp28,150 per kg; while red cayenne pepper rose 0.74 percent or Rp290 to Rp39,740 per kg.
Next, the price of pure beef rose 0.08 percent or Rp110 to Rp134,880 per kg; while the price of pure beef fell 0.53 percent or Rp190 to Rp35,920 per kg; then broiler eggs rose 0.49 percent or Rp140 to Rp28,510 per kg.
Next, the price of dried soybeans (imports) was observed to increase by 1.14 percent or Rp120 to Rp10,690 per kg; then consumption sugar also rose 0.39 percent or Rp70 to Rp18,000 per kg.
Next, the price of bulk flour fell 1.68 percent or Rp170 to Rp9,960 per kg; then non-mass wheat flour also fell 1.14 percent or Rp150 to Rp12,970 per kg.
Then, the price of corn at the farmer level rose 2.03 percent or Rp120 to Rp6,020 per kg; the price of fine salt with sodium also rose 0.78 percent or Rp90 to Rp11,570 per kg.
