Persepi Chairman: Ethics Council Never Says Poltracking Data Is Wrong

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Public Opinion Survey Association (Persepi), Philips J. Vermonte stated that Indonesia's Poltracking survey data did not contain errors.

Philips emphasized that the Persepi Ethics Council did not find the Poltracking Survey data to have an error in the Jakarta Pilkada.

"The ethics board did not say the survey (Polttracking) was wrong," Philips said at a press conference 'Distinguishing the Results of the Open Ethics Council Session' at the Mercure Lebak Bulus Hotel, South Jakarta, Saturday, November 9 evening.

Philips memperkuat hasil survei Pilkada Jakarta yang dirilis Poltracking Indonesia yang dinilai melalui proses yang sesuai dengan standar survei. Dia sekaligus mewaris tudingan lingk terkait hasil survei tersebut.

With this explanation, Philips also pointed out that the decision of the Persepi Ethics Council, which had previously invited debate, had no strong reason to state that Indonesia's Poltracking survey was flawed.

Previously, at a press conference "Revealing the Truth" related to the Jakarta Pilkada survey, the Executive Director of Poltracking Indonesia, Hanta Yuda AR emphasized that Poltracking integrity cannot be intervened by any party. Poltracking is committed to maintaining data credibility without compromise.

"Poltracking is committed to maintaining credibility. Regarding the results of the Jakarta Pilkada survey in October 2024. It does not exist and has never changed electability even though it is on a scale of 0.0000001 percent. Poltracking has never compromised on results with clients," said Hanta Yuda.

Poltracking Indonesia is widely known as a survey institute related to democratic contestation in Indonesia. The rigorous process of data collection and analysis became their basis in the survey world.

Hanta emphasized that the strict standard operating procedure (SOP) implemented by Poltracking is a guarantee of the reliability of their survey results. This proves that Poltracking will not risk its credibility just for the sake of a single survey.

"With this very strict SOP, it is impossible for Poltracking to risk his reputation for just one Jakarta Pilkada survey," he said.
