Hijra By Wearing Koko Clothes, Aming Admits It Was Just A Gimmick For A Film Character

JAKARTA - Celebrity Aming Supriatna Sugandhi alias Aming clarified regarding his new appearance which looks changed by wearing koko clothes.

Aming said that when it was said that he had started to convert, he could not deny or confirm the news.

"It was a big deal that I converted. So I, they said 'Aming converted', that's something that can't be reversed, denied it can't be, reversed it can't be, even if you say yes, it's like a hypocrite," said Aming as quoted by VOI from Instagram @lambegosiip, Sunday, November 10.

Then Aming explained that the change in his appearance was actually because he was currently exploring his character as Sumanto.

"Finally, I just said yes. Anyway, at that time I was observing Sumanto's character. So Sumanto ended up in the name of the An-Nur Foundation, which is like a hapsa rehabilitation, silent, with a more humane approach plus Islamic boarding school," explained Aming.

"Yes, when I observe Sumanto at the Islamic boarding school, I wear koko clothes, yes, I wear a sarong," he added.

However, Aming said that until now he still keeps the girls' clothes that he usually wears to work.

"I'm the type of person who can't lie. During the interview, 'Ming, you said you're moving, right?'
