BNI Aims For Balinese Tourist Customers Through Digital Banking Cafe

JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI inaugurated the BNI Digital Banking Cafe in the Mount Batur area, Bali, in order to expand the reach and attract more customers, especially in tourist areas.

"We combine the needs of customer transactions that are safe and comfortable. BNI Digital Banking Cafe is the ideal place for transactions as well as relaxing with a beautiful natural background," said BNI Network & Services Director Ronny Venir in a statement in Jakarta, Saturday.

The BNI Digital Banking Cafe building is designed with a modern design that is in line with the beauty of the surrounding nature.

BNI also provides integrated digital services, ranging from ATM machines, CRM, to digital or DigICS customer service that makes it easier for customers to make various transactions. Customers can also make digital transactions through the wondr by BNI application.

The concept that is integrated with nature, continued Ronny, is expected to become a new trend in the banking world in Indonesia. The presence of BNI Digital Banking Cafe at this location is also a form of BNI's support for the Indonesian tourism sector, especially Bali, as well as an example of the implementation of adaptive and environmentally friendly banking service innovations.

BNI posted a net profit of IDR 16.3 trillion until the third quarter of 2024 thanks to the well-maintained recovery of operating income and asset quality.

BNI recorded performance recovery, especially in the third quarter of 2024. Operating income before reserves or PPOP in the third quarter of 2024 reached IDR 8.8 trillion or almost touched its highest position in the third quarter of last year of IDR 8.9 trillion.

Meanwhile, digital banking transactions (digital banking) experienced significant growth in the third quarter of 2024, reaching 1.04 billion transactions (growing 40.9 percent yoy) with a touching value of IDR 1,104 trillion (growing 26.2 percent yoy).

The number of BNI Mobile Banking and wondr by BNI service users recorded an increase of 14.8 percent yoy to 17.9 million users. As many as 70 percent of BNI savings customers are contributed by Wondr by BNI user customers. Active users who make transactions on this platform reach 50 percent.
