IPB University Alumni Association Gives IPB Entrance Quota Without Test

The CITY OF BOGOR - IPB University Alumni Association (HA) held the Future Agile Leader Program (FALP) 2024 program, as a forum to facilitate leadership development among youth, as well as provide the winner of the program to enter the university without a test.

Chairman of DPP HA IPB Walneg S. Jas in Bogor City, Saturday, explained that this program is intended for the OSIS Daily Management Agency and SMA extracurricular representatives from all over Indonesia.

He said, FALP aims to hone the character of leadership who is empathetic, adaptive, innovative, and collaborative. Program winners also have the opportunity to become IPB University students without a test.

"This is part of our contribution as an alumni assistant to this nation preparing young leaders candidates. At its peak event, 15 people were chosen to get a golden ticket to enter the IPB without a test," said Walneg.

He said the series of activities carried out consisted of mentoring together with the HA IPB mentee, social projects, leadership camp, and ended with the Best Young Leaders Awarding activities as the peak event.

At the peak event, Walneg said, it was announced which participants received the golden ticket. From last year's FALP, there were 15 people who got the opportunity.

"Ini sekarang saya sedang berdiskusi dengan IPB mungkin bisa kita tambahkan menjadi 20," ujarnya.

Walneg said the 2024 FALP will be held from November 2024 to January 2025. It is targeted this year that FALP participants will reach 5,000 people from all over Indonesia.

Deputy Chancellor for Education and Student Affairs at IPB University, Prof Deni Noviana said that through FALP, IPB wants to find the best candidate for national leader and talent.

"Through this program, we are also trying to alleviate various kinds of difficulties experienced by the community and provide access to education for those in need," he said.
