Regarding The Discovery Of A Body On The Bakauheni Toll Road, The Police Check 15 Witnesses

JAKARTA - The police examined 15 people as witnesses in the discovery of a man's body in the drainage of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) KM 03 B, Bakauheni District, South Lampung Regency on Monday (28/10).

"Until now investigators have continued to collect evidence, we have examined nine witnesses and six police officers have been questioned," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Lampung Police, AKP Dhedi Adi Putra, in Kalianda, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, November 9, 2024.

He said his party had also found new facts regarding the death case of Nanda Purbomo (35), a resident of Bandarlampung, from the examination of CCTV footage before the victim died.

"The police also re-checked the crime scene and looked for the victim's jacket," he said.

However, from the results of the examination of 15 witnesses, including the six members of the National Police, his party has not been able to confirm who the perpetrators were from the discovery of the corpse on the Pinggir of the Bakauheni Toll Road.

Previously, the toll road cleaning officer who was cleaning later found a male corpse in the drainage area of the Bakauheni toll road on Monday (28/10), at 08.15 WIB.

When found, the corpse was still wearing black jeans and a black t-shirt. In addition, the body uses a brown leather belt and there is a cellphone in the pocket of his right pants.
