Pos Indonesia and Jalin Collaborate on Cross-Border QR Payment Services in Singapore
JAKARTA - PT Pos Indonesia (Posind) through the Pospay Application and PT Jalin Pembayaran Nusantara (Jalin) collaborate in cross-border QR payment services, which allow Pospay customers to make transactions in Singapore.
Jalin Commercial Director Eko Dedi Rukminto stated that the collaboration allows for wider cross-border transactions for customers.
"The Link Network from Jalin will support Pospay customers traveling to Singapore to be able to transact comfortably, just like transacting in their own country," he said, quoting Antara.
Supported by Jalin's Link digital payment processing network (switching), this service was inaugurated through the signing of a symbolic charter at the Singapore Fintech Festival (SFF) 2024.
According to him, this step is a form of BUMN synergy that strengthens national digital payment connectivity and supports the acceleration of digitalization in accordance with the Indonesian Payment System Blueprint (BSPI) 2030.
Pos Indonesia's Director of Network Business and Financial Services Haris added that this collaboration allows Pospay customers to make cross-border payments practically, presenting an easy and safe transaction experience when traveling to Singapore or other regional areas such as Malaysia and Thailand.
The cross-border QR service, he said again, will add to Pospay's advantages as an inclusive, easily accessible, and relevant financial platform for the wider community.
With Jalin's support, Pospay can utilize a safe and trusted switching network, thus providing an efficient cross-border transaction experience for its customers who currently have more than 400 thousand active users.
According to him, the synergy between BUMNs is expected to strengthen the national digital payment ecosystem, open up wider cross-border transaction opportunities, and support the BSPI 2030 vision to create a modern and connected digital payment infrastructure with international standards.
