Israel Attacks Al-Safira City, A Number Of Syrian Soldiers Injured

JAKARTA - A number of Syrian soldiers were injured in Israeli air "aggression" around the cities of Al-Safira near Aleppo and Idlib.

The air aggression targets a number of locations in rural areas, outside of Aleppo and Idlib, state media said, citing military sources on Saturday, November 9 morning.

The Israeli military did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Israel has carried out attacks on targets linked to Iran in Syria for years but has stepped up the attack since the October 7 attacks by Hamas armed groups in Israeli territory.

Previously, the Israeli order targeted industrial estates and several residential buildings in the city of Qusayr in the province of Homs in Syria.

Syrian state TV quoted the health director of Homs province as saying there were no injuries as a result of the attack.

The Israeli military said it was targeting weapons storage facilities and command centers used by the Hezbollah militant group.

Israel launched attacks to reduce arms shipments from Iran via Syria to Hezbollah in Lebanon.
