Edhy Prabowo's Edhy Prabowo Is On Trial For Bribery For Benur Export Permits
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) handed over the case files of former Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Edhy Prabowo to the Jakarta Corruption Criminal Court (Tipikor). Edhy Prabowo was the recipient of bribes in the bribery case of export permits at the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries.
In addition to Edhy Prabowo, kpk also handed over files belonging to former staffsus Edhy, Safri and Andreau Pribadi Misanta; Administrator of PT Aero Citra Kargo (PT ACK) Siswadi; and staff of Edhy's wife, Ainul Faqih, and Amiril Mukminin.
"Today JPU KPK handed over the case files of defendant Edhy Prabowo, defendant Ainul Faqih, defendant Safri, defendant Andreau Misanta Pribadi, defendant Siswadhi Pranoto Loe, defendant Amiril Mukminin to PN Tipikor Central Jakarta," said Acting Kpk Spokesman for Enforcement Ali Fikri in his written statement, Thursday, April 8.
Furthermore, the detention of Edhy Prabowo and five others turned into the custody of the Central Jakarta Tipikor Court.
"Furthermore, JPU awaits the appointment of the panel of judges and the determination of the day of the hearing with the first agenda of reading the indictment," said Ali.
In this case, the six people were charged with Article 12 letter a of Law No. 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes as amended by Law No. 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law No. 31 of 1999 concerning eradication of corruption crimes jo Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st Penal Code jo Article 65 paragraph (1) penal code.
Or the second indictment of Article 11 of Law No. 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes as amended by Law No. 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law No. 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes jo Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st Penal Code jo Article 65 paragraph (1) penal code.
In this case, the KPK designated a number of parties as suspects in addition to former Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Edhy Prabowo. They are Stafsus Menteri KKP Safri (SAF) and Andreau Pribadi Misanta (APM); Administrator of PT Aero Citra Kargo (PT ACK) Siswadi (SWD); Staff wife of KKP Minister Ainul Faqih, and Amiril Mukminin (AM). While the giver of bribes is the Director of PT Dua Putra Perkasa Pratama (PT DPPP) Suharjito (SJT).
