Mercedes-Benz Reveals More Details Of The Latest CLA, Present In EV And Mild-hybrid Variants
JAKARTA - Germany's premium automotive manufacturer Mercedes-Benz is starting to provide detailed information about the next generation of CLA ahead of its launch in 2025.
The presence of the latest CLA also marks a new era for brands in the entry-level segment. These are designed to set new standards in range, efficiency, and charging speed, offering customers a choice between advanced electric drivetrains and high-tech electric combustion engines.
Chairman of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, Ola Kallenius said the sedan will get improvements in various aspects, including providing high-tech systems in software operating systems.
We will substantially improve every aspect of what our customers expect from a Mercedes in this segment. The modular platform allows maximum flexibility so that it can offer CLA in advanced electric drivetrain versions and hybrid combustion engine versions. And our operating system, MB.OS, will make it the most intelligent car we've ever made," said Kllenius on the brand's official website, Friday, November 8.

The manufacturer, commonly called 'Mercy', offers CLA in two drivers, namely electricity (EV) and mild-hybrid. For EVs, the sedan combines technology from the EQXX concept. The driver is developed independently and ensures it has optimal performance and efficiency.
In addition, the car is also equipped with two acceleration transmissions so that it can provide sporty performance in collaboration with energy efficiency.
For the mild-hybrid version, Mercedes-Benz will present it with an ICE coupled 48V technology combined with a new electrification transmission.
Speaking of design, this third-generation CLA combines elements from the Concept CLA launched one year ago. This includes a distinctive and featured front light for the first time in its production version.
The latest CLA will also come with the latest Mercedes-Benz (MB.OS) operating system which includes MBUX Virtual Assistant supported by Artificial Intelligent (AI). This system improves the relationship between car drivers with natural and intuitive interactions and proactive support.
