Minister Of Religion Collaborates With KPK And AGO In Hajj Implementation
Minister of Religion (Menag) Nasaruddin Umar will cooperate with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the Attorney General's Office in organizing the pilgrimage to ensure transparency and integrity.
"We have discussed with the KPK regarding the implementation of the Hajj and asked for assistance so that irregularities do not occur, both domestically and abroad," said Nasaruddin Umar at the pilgrimage event reported by ANTARA, Friday, November 8.
Eradication of corruption is President Prabowo Subianto's main agenda, as stated in the seventh point of Astacita which emphasizes strengthening reform in politics, law and bureaucracy, as well as focusing on preventing and eradicating corruption and drugs.
On various occasions, President Prabowo consistently emphasized his commitment to eradicating corruption. This was conveyed repeatedly both before being inaugurated and after officially serving as head of state.
In line with President Prabowo's big agenda, Minister of Religion Nasaruddin emphasized that his ministry must also be free from all forms of fraud that can harm the state and society.
"The President is very committed to cleaning up government and private agencies. He is determined to bring order to all things that damage the noble values of the Indonesian nation," said the Minister of Religion.

According to him, the implementation of Hajj that can be considered successful is when the congregation gets the best service and there is no misappropriation that harms the state.
"I remind all Ministry of Religion officials that we are determined to clean the Ministry of Religion as a whole. Our Moto is for the implementation of this year's Hajj to be better, with management carried out together," he added.
