Allegedly Performing Racis Hate Speech, Farhat Abbas Police Denny Sumargo
JAKARTA - The feud between Denny Sumargo and Farhat Abbas is still ongoing even though Denny Sumargo has previously admitted to making peace with Farhat Abbas regarding his comments on one of his social media accounts.
Officially, Farhat Abbas accompanied by his attorney, Krisna Murti, reported Farhat Abbas to the authorities.
"Therefore, we have decided to report Denny Sumargo and today we have officially reported it under Law No. 40 of 2008 article 16 or Article 156 of the Criminal Code. The victim is Farhat Abbas, reported by Denny Sumargo, with a penalty of more than 5 years," said Krisna Murti at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday, November 7th.
Farhat reported Olivia Allan's husband with accusations of hate speech against a tribe over a particular race. "(Reported) hate speech, ethnicity," added Krisna Murti.
Krisna explained that her party had submitted some of the evidence needed in the form of videos spread on social media.
"(The evidence) is a lot. There are a lot of videos that are evidence. Good on his account, right," he explained.
Previously, Denny Sumargo came to Farhat Abbas's house to prove the words of the lawyer. Through her personal account, Olivia Allan's husband questioned the message sent by Farhat.
Earlier he said that Bang Farhat wanted to beat me. He shared his location and I came," said Denny Sumargo or familiarly called Densu, via Instagram Story on Monday, November 4.
Even so, Denny Sumargo decided that their feud ended peacefully after discussions were held between them.
