KPU Collaborates With BSSN And Polri To Ensure Sirekap Servers Don't Down During The 2024 Pilkada

The General Elections Commission (KPU) seeks that the Election Recapitulation Information System (Sirekap) does not experience any problems or downs in the 2024 Pilkada vote recapitulation process. This step was taken by cooperating with the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) and the National Police.

KPU member Betty Epsilon Idroos said a number of repairs and improvements to the Sirekap mobile system had been carried out, including ensuring that the server would not go down when accessed by many people at the same time.

"During the 2024 General Election, thank God there was an attack like that, but of course we will try and we will be assisted by many people, many parties, many agencies, especially BSSN and the police," said Betty, Thursday, November 7.

Reflecting on the implementation of the 2024 General Election, Betty explained, the role of BSSN is very important to check in case of problems. However, the upload and download process on the Sirekap application previously went well.

It is known that the KPU is making improvements to the Sirekap mobile application. The application will be used in the calculation and confinement of the 2024 Pilkada.
