Minister Maman: Interactive QRIS Interactive Termination Is Not Disrupting MSMEs
JAKARTA - Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Maman Abdurrahman ensured that MSME actors still get their rights regarding the temporary suspension of InterActive QRIS services, which causes balances belonging to MSME actors to be stuck for more than 10 days.
Maman held a coordination meeting with PT Interactive Interactive International or InterActive QRIS, last Wednesday, November 6, to hear the explanation and clarification from PT Interactive Interaksional regarding technical problems in the QRIS Interactive service, which had shocked social media.
Several MSME actors complained that the InterActive QRIS service was temporarily suspended, causing balances belonging to tens of thousands of MSME actors to be stuck for more than 10 days.

Maman said the Ministry of MSMEs is trying to protect and protect MSME players from being harmed, especially since they have also been charged a customer discount rate (MDR) of 0.7 percent on the use of QRIS.
"So that after business actors issue their obligations, they should get their rights (disbursement of money quickly) and get maximum service," he said in his statement in Jakarta, Thursday.
He hopes that the policy of blocking accounts of payment service providers (PJP) is implemented selectively, only to accounts that have strong indications of being involved in activities that violate the rules, so as not to cause harm to innocent parties.
On the same occasion, InterActive QRIS CEO Alex Surya Rahardjo said that the temporary suspension of their services was due to a notification letter from Bank Mandiri regarding the request for postponement of debit transactions submitted by the police.
The police suspect that there is illegal activity involving several interactive QRIS merchant partners.
The blocked account is an account used to temporarily accommodate merchants' funds before being disbursed.
Alex said that currently InterActive QRIS together with PT Finnet Indonesia are working to resolve this issue and ensure that merchants can immediately receive their funds.
Based on the results of the examination, it can be ascertained that InterActive QRIS was not involved in online gambling activities that were previously accused.
Thus, the temporary blocking that has been in effect since October 16, 2024 has been lifted. The company is currently in the process of disbursing funds to all InterActive QRIS merchants in stages, starting on November 4, 2024.
