Voltron Expands EV Charging Infrastructure Network In Indonesia

JAKARTA - Indonesian volleyball continues to innovate in the country in the development of digital ecosystems and electric vehicles, the latest in collaboration with Indosat Business.

Voltron Indonesia suppresses a memorandum of understanding or MoU with Indosat Business entitled 'Powering Indonesia's Digital and EV Future', which expands EV charging networks in Indosat offices.

President Director of Voltron Abdul Rahman Elly, welcomed the collaboration with Indosat, where the collaboration is an important part of Voltron's vision to create a more integrated and accessible EV charging infrastructure.

"This collaboration allows Voltron to provide a more sophisticated user experience through stronger digital technology and a wide-spread EV charging network. We want to change the future of mobility in Indonesia," he said, in an official statement received on Thursday, November 7.

He further revealed that this collaboration also provides great opportunities for accelerating EV adoption, not only in urban areas but to areas that have not been reached by current EV charging networks.

By utilizing Indosat's offices as charging points, Voltron expands public access to strategic SPKLUs. We also innovate through M2M solutions supported by the Indosat network to ensure that each charging station is connected intelligently, efficiently, and provides real-time data for EV users," he added.

On the same occasion, Director & Chief Business Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison Muhammad Buldansyah, said that this collaboration with Voltron is clear evidence of Indosat Business' commitment to empowering Indonesia. In this partnership, Indosat acts as a digital preferred partner for Voltron and its ecosystem, providing a network of Telecommunications, Information Technology, as well as ICT and IoT solutions specifically designed for the energy and infrastructure sectors.

As project coordinator, he emphasized the importance of educating the public to understand the benefits and use of electric vehicle technology in a sustainable manner.
