Welcoming Donald Trump's Victory In The US Presidential Election, Commission I Of The DPR: Figures Close To The Indonesian Nation

JAKARTA - Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives in charge of foreign affairs welcomed Donald Trump's victory in the United States (US) Presidential Election (Pilpres).

Deputy Chairman of Commission I of the DPR, Dave Akbarshah Fikarno or Dave Laksono, called Trump a figure who is close to the Indonesian nation.

"We congratulate the US people on the election of a new president. He (Trump) is a figure who knows and is close to the Indonesian people," Dave told VOI, Thursday, November 7.

For this reason, the Golkar politician believes that Trump can work optimally as US President. As the leader of the Adidaya State, Trump is expected to be able to build human civilization, especially world peace.

"We believe President Trump will be able to work optimally and optimally in building a better world human civilization, towards a peaceful and prosperous world," said Dave.

As reported, Donald Trump is predicted to outperform his rival Kamala Harris in the United States (US) presidential election held on Tuesday.

Trump, a Republican candidate paired with JD Vance, is projected to beat Harris who is paired with Republican Walz Team.

Trump is predicted to have more than 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency, out of a total of 538 electoral votes contested in 50 states and the District of Columbia.

As of Wednesday 6.30 am ET, Trump outperformed Harris according to a number of calculations regarding the vote acquisition in the 2024 US Presidential Election.

ABC News put Trump ahead with 279 electoral votes over Harris who won 223 electoral votes.
