Anies Baswedan's Stern Promise To Immediately Fire The Men Involved In Corruption
JAKARTA - Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan said, will firmly crack down on the ranks of the Provincial Government of DKI involved in corruption practices. He said any person involved would be immediately dismissed from office.
"If there is an incident (corruption) for example, then the steps taken by the Provincial Government are simple. Immediately the concerned was dismissed, immediately the concerned was replaced," Anies said in a virtual discussion with the theme "Dissecting the Corruption Practices of Regional Heads", Thursday, April 8.
In controlling the practice of corruption, Anies claimed that the Provincial Government of Dki Jakarta has a good prevention system. Since the beginning of his leadership, Anies has formed the Capital's Corruption Prevention Committee (KPK).
"What we are doing in Jakarta is to establish the Capital Kpk, where they are tasked to assist the governor in monitoring and monitoring the practices that occur in DKI
Hopefully, TGUPP institutions led by Bambang Widjojanto can take precautions. If there is a problem of corruption, then Anies can act quickly.
"There is no tolerance to anyone involved in this practice, especially in Jakarta," he said.
On that occasion, Anies mentioned there are three factors that make people commit corruption. one of the underlying factors that people practice corruption is necessity.
Anies said, if a person cannot meet the needs of a decent life where he works, then he should look for additional income to cover it.
"For example, the need for hidunya Rp10 million a month, while his opinion is Rp7 million a month. Then he must find and the difference of Rp3 million. It could be, taken through the authority used to get additional filling in the empty money. This is the type of corruption because of the need," explained Anies.
The second factor, people commit corruption is greed. According to him, the greedy man never felt enough for what he had.
"Greed is something that has no end. How to deal with it with severe punishment, strict sanctions, indiscriminate sanctions. This is then the solution," he said.
Another factor is the system. In this factor a person can get caught up in the practice of corruption due to a process he or she is working on. These three factors show that people who commit corruption have breakthroughs in launching their practices.
