Good News, Starting Tomorrow 9 April 2021 Antigen Test Tariff At Stations Only IDR 85.000
JAKARTA - The fare of rapid test antigen at the station intended for prospective train passengers will be lowered from IDR 105,000 to IDR 85,000 which will come into force on Friday 9 April.
"With this fare reduction, the hope is that the antigen rapid test service will be more affordable for passengers, especially the result has a longer validity period than GeNose inspection", said Public Relations Manager of PT KAI Daerah Operasi 6 Yogyakarta Supriyanto in Yogyakarta, quoted from Antara, Thursday, April 8.
In the working area of PT KAI Daerah Operasi 6 Yogyakarta, three stations hold antigen rapid test inspection services as part of the fulfillment of travel requirements for passengers, namely Tugu Station, Lempuyangan Station, and Solo Balapan Station.
By the Circular Letter of the Task Force on Handling COVID-19 Number 12 of 2021 and the circular letter of the Ministry of Transportation No. 27 of 2021, the validity period of negative results for rapid antigen tests is 3x24 hours since the sampling. As for negative results, GeNose has a validity period of 1x24 hours from sampling.
"Although at the three stations in PT KAI Daerah Operasi 6 also held inspections with GeNose, but the antigen rapid test service is also still accessible to prospective passengers", he said.
According to Supriyanto, there are still several companies or workplace passengers who provide conditions that must bring the results of rapid antigen tests after a trip outside the area.
"Not all of them then switched to GeNose with a fare of IDR 30,000, there are still passengers who still do rapid antigen test", he said.
Since its opening from December 21, 2020, to April 5, 2021, KAI has served rapid antigen tests to 493,014 passengers at 42 stations equipped with such facilities.
On Thursday 8 April, a free antigen rapid test service was also performed at Lempuyangan Station for prospective long-distance train passengers. Passengers simply show the booking code to access the service resulting from the cooperation between PT KAI and Jasa Raharja.
The service is intended for about 30 to 50 prospective train passengers and will be done periodically if the demand for passengers is sufficient.
