Prabowo Asks Law Enforcers Not To Hesitate Strict Actions On Online Gambling

President Prabowo Subianto asked law enforcement officials not to hesitate in taking firm action against four crimes, namely online gambling, drugs, smuggling and corruption.

"The president emphasized that there are four important issues that cannot be played around with. The first is the issue of gambling, the second is the issue of drugs, the third is the issue of smuggling, and the fourth is about corruption," said Head of the Presidential Communication Office Hasan Nasbi as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, November 6.

Before leaving for overseas visits, President Prabowo gathered ministers to discuss a number of issues, including law enforcement against the four crimes.

Regarding the four problems, the President asked the Attorney General's Office so that the police did not hesitate to take firm action against the case.

"The president asked the four issues, law enforcers must not hesitate to enforce the law. So, the Attorney General, the police requested by the President not to hesitate, to take firm action on the four things," Hasan said.

In the briefing of the plenary cabinet meeting, President Prabowo began traveling abroad on Friday (8/11).

The President will make three honorary visits, namely to China, the United States, and Britain and attend two high-level conferences (KTT), namely the APEC Summit in Peru and the G20 Summit in Brazil.

Although he stated that he wanted to focus on doing domestic affairs, the President said that this overseas visit was very strategic and positive.

"There are many impacts to develop the potential for cooperation and the Indonesian economy. So, he is traveling abroad," Hasan said.
