RK Claims His Father Gen Z, Pramono Anung: I'm His Grandpa
JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor Candidate number 3 Pramono Anung responded to the claim of candidate for Governor of Jakarta number 1 Ridwan Kamil who claimed to be his father Gen Z. Pramono responded jokingly.
"I am his grandfather Gen Z," said Pramono with a laugh, met in Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta, Wednesday, November 6.
On that occasion, Pramono also revealed a program targeting young groups, especially Gen Z, which he will run if he wins the Jakarta Pilkada. One of them is to create a creative space to gather
"Things that are creators, later there will be a creator hub. What is a creator hub? Places of people who are creative, then create something new, not just tiktok, animation, digital economy, and many things, very much," said Pramono.
"That's what we will train. So why is this more concentration on young people in Jakarta, Gen Z, millennial genes," he continued.
Previously, Ridwan Kamil claimed to understand more about the need for Z genes and their aspirations to the government. The former Governor of West Java considers Gen Z to be like his own child.
"Gen Z is very loved by us. Because I have a child whose gen Z is too. So I am the father of gen Z. So I really understand what his complaints are," said RK.
RK also admitted that he was actively communicating with Gen Z on social media. According to him, cyberspace is one of the platforms so that it can be closer to young people in Jakarta.
"We are most active on Tiktok, because Gen Z hangs out on Tiktok. We hang out in hangout places, if we hang out at a shop, we go to a shop, we go to a mall hang out at a mall, now Gen Z hangs out on Tiktok, so we increase communication to Tiktok," he explained.
RK's attitude as the father of Gen Z was motivated by the results of the Kompas Research and Development survey. Support for RK and its cawagub, Suswono excels in the Z generation voter group (under 28 years old), with the support of respondents of 40.6 percent.
