Three Judges Who Sentenced Ronald Tannur Free Detained In Different Places, Some At The KPK

The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has detained three judges at the Surabaya District Court who have been named suspects in the bribery and gratification case of Ronald Tannur's acquittal in different places.

They are known to have been brought by investigators to Jakarta for further investigation regarding the alleged bribery and gratuity case.

"After undergoing examination, they were detained (in different places)," said the Head of the AGO, Harli Siregar in his statement, Wednesday, November 6.

The suspect Heru Hanindyo was detained at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Branch of State Detention Center.

Then, the suspect Erintuah Damanik was detained at the Cipinang Class I State Detention Center. While the other was placed in the AGO

"Suspect M (Inspector) was detained at the Salemba State Detention Center at the Attorney General's Office," said Harli.

The three judges were brought to Jakarta on the grounds of simplifying the examination process. Moreover, their statements are needed for several other suspects in the bribery case and the gratification of Ronald Tannur's verdict.

"For the effectiveness of the examination, because they will also be examined for other suspects," said Harli.

The three judges are suspected of accepting bribes or gratuities worth Rp. 3.5 billion in order to sentence Ronald Tannur to acquit Ronald Tannur in the murder case against Dini Sera Afrianti.
