100 Patients Will Be Evacuated From Gaza, Undergo Treatment In The UAE To Romania
JAKARTA - More than 100 patients including children suffering from trauma and chronic illness will be evacuated from Gaza on Wednesday, November 6.
"This is an ad hoc act. What we have repeatedly asked for is a sustainable medevac (medical evacuation) outside Gaza," said Rik Peeperkorn, WHO representative for the Palestinian Population.
The patients will travel in a large convoy on Wednesday via the Kerem Shallom crossing with Israel before flying to the United Arab Emirates.
