Ipsos Research: Shopee Wins Rejected In Providing Online Shopping Satisfaction
JAKARTA - A recent research from Ipsos entitled Online Shopping Experience and Satisfaction at E-commerce', reveals that Shopee excels in providing and providing the highest level of satisfaction in the online shopping experience.
This fact is shown where Shopee (62%) is the first option to be recommended by consumers to its close relatives, followed by Tokopedia (46%), TikTok Shop (42%), and Lazada (36%).
In addition, this research also excels in providing security and convenience when shopping online with 66% of respondents claiming to choose to use Shopee because of the most complete delivery services, followed by Tokopedia (16%), Lazada (10%), and TikTok Shop (7%).
Not only that, 64% of responses also chose Shopee as an e-commerce platform with the most diverse payment options methods, compared to Tokopedia (15%), Lazada (11%), and TikTok Shop (8%).
Ipsos also observed that Cash on Delivery (COD) payment methods are increasingly being used and are attracting the attention of the respondents the most. In line with this fact, Shopee (66%) is also an e-commerce platform with the COD payment method which is considered the most satisfying, followed by Tokopedia & Lazada of 12%, and the last is TikTok Shop 10%.

Through this research, Ipsos sees that e-commerce players compete through technology and program innovation to attract the hearts of the public. Although, what will be sought by the community is only that can create feelings of satisfaction with the online shopping experience.
"Satisfaction through various important aspects that Shopee can meet, makes Shopee superior as the main choice for Indonesian consumers to create a holistic and reliable online shopping experience," said Andi Sukma, Executive Director of Ipsos Indonesia.
According to Andi, the ecosystem strategy presented by Shopee to satisfy the community shows their readiness to face high volume during the shopping festival period at the end of this year.
