Eri Cahyadi Raises Honor RT, RW And LPMK Surabaya Up To 2 Fold
SURABAYA - Good news for RT/RW (Neighborhood and Citizens Association), and The Village Community Empowerment Institute (LPMK) of Surabaya City. Surabaya Mayor Eri Cahyadi raised the honor or operational costs 100 percent from before.
"I hope in the future they can love, maintain and maximize services to the community at the level of RT, RW, and the village. So from citizens to citizens anyway", said Eri Cahyadi in Surabaya, Thursday, April 8.
Eri Cahyadi said the public service programs include the management of Identity Card (KTP), Family Card (KK), death certificate, transfer letter. It becomes important to do so that citizens are easier, faster, and closer because service problems can be resolved at the RT/RW level.
Besides, Eri Cahyadi wants the development of the city not only from the government to the community, but also to build love between citizens.
"Because the government at the village level is the spearhead in the development sector. So they are the closest to the citizens", he said.
If the program can be run properly then, Eri will not be liable to add more operational costs. However, if in the implementation of the RT/RW and LPMK commit fraud, or unfairly serve the community, it will dismiss or remove the position.
"Actually this is like honor or incentive for RT. Those who help the government to know the condition of its citizens. As later data collection of Low-Income Communities (MBR) is also done rt but to be more careful and on target", he said.
Eri Cahyadi hopes that the citizens who become the chairman of RT, RW, and LPMK are the chosen ones. That is, it is not just citizens who just fill vacancies.
"I hope there is synergy between the government and its people. Because RT, RW, and LPMK that can record SMEs, or classified as MBR, later they will prosper the community", he said.
To be known, initially, RT received operational costs amounting to IDR 550 every month, now to IDR 1 million. Next, for RW originally each month received IDR 600 thousand, now to IDR 1.250.000 thousand, and for LPMK which was originally IDR 700 thousand to IDR 1.5 million.
