The National Police Chief Ensures To Brush Up Ministry Employees Who Arekingi Judi Online
JAKARTA - The National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit, stated that he would take action against individuals who rank online gambling practices (judol), especially at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Kemkomdigi).
The statement was made after a coordination meeting at the Coordinating Ministry for Political and Security Affairs Office.
"I have already said that we are currently working with the Minister of Communication and Digigi and we agreed to do the cleaning," Sigit told reporters, Monday, November 4.
With the 'green light' given, the National Police will explore whether or not there are other individuals who rank online gambling.
This step is taken solely to eliminate online gambling practices that harm the community
"Therefore, he invited our team to do further inland. Anyone involved. Therefore, the team is currently working," he said.
Not only members of the ministry, continued Sigit, the National Police will investigate to the big city. If you are outside the country, then Koprs Bhyangkara will use a way of working with the international police.
"We will solve it one by one. If it is in we take it, if it is outside, of course we will carry out international cooperation as optimally as possible," said Sigit.

It is known that the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of the Metro Jaya Police revealed online gambling practices involving employees and staff from Komdigi.
Most recently, the police named two more suspects. Thus, there are currently 16 people.
Of the dozens of suspects, there were 12 Komdigi employees and four ordinary residents.
"We have arrested two other suspects. So the total number of suspects is now 16 people," said the Director of General Criminal Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Wira Satya Triputra.
