Roni Heryadi, A Man With Tattoos In Gambir, Steals Mosque Charity Box
The perpetrator of the theft named Roni Heriyadi (40) from Pontianak did not move when he was arrested by residents because he was caught stealing a charity box from a mosque on Cibunar Raya Street, RT 07/02, Duri Pulo Village, Gambir District, Central Jakarta.
The man with tattoos all over his body was caught stealing money in a mosque charity box containing cash. The perpetrator's actions were also caught on CCTV cameras.
In the CCTV camera footage of the mosque, the perpetrator, dressed in a long-sleeved shirt and trousers, was seen walking slowly near the mosque's charity box. When he was prying out the charity box, the actions of the perpetrators were discovered by other residents.
Before being caught, residents had also suspected the perpetrators' movements so that reconnaissance was carried out. Sure enough, from the suspicion of the residents, they finally found that they were prying the charity box inside the mosque.
"The perpetrator has just pryed out the charity box. He is a thief in a charity box in the mosque," said Martin, a local resident when confirmed by VOI, Monday, November 4.

The actions of the perpetrators were caught by residents so that the perpetrators were chased and arrested. The perpetrator was arrested at the entrance area of the mosque by residents who chased him.
The incident also invited other residents to come to the mosque area to see the perpetrators of the theft. The perpetrators were then arrested to avoid taking justice into their own hands.
"Yes, I immediately secured the perpetrator and brought him to the Gambir Metro Police," he said.
Meanwhile, from the identity of the perpetrator, the perpetrator named Roni was listed as a resident of Jatisampurna, Bekasi City.
Furthermore, the perpetrators along with evidence of the charity box, CCTV footage and witnesses were taken to the Gambir Metro Police for further processing.
