Fictitious Investment Cases, KPK Opportunity To Snare Parties Apart From Taspen's Managing Director And PT Insight Investment Management
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to investigate the involvement of other parties in corruption cases related to fictitious investments in PT Taspen (Persero). Anyone who participates in fraudulent practices will certainly be charged.
"The current investigation is still possible to ask other parties who should be held criminally responsible," said KPK Spokesperson Team Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Monday, November 4.
Budi has not specified who the party is in question. He only gave an ultimatum to all parties to cooperate in following the ongoing legal process.
"KPK expresses its appreciation for parties who have good faith and choose to work together in uncovering the real thing in this case and of course this will be carefully considered by the KPK," he said.
"On the other hand, for parties who are not cooperative, of course the KPK will take all appropriate and measured actions in accordance with the law," continued Budi.
Budi said this attitude would be taken by the KPK so that the return of state money could be maximized. Moreover, the alleged corruption in PT Taspen (Persero) has caused losses.
As previously reported, the KPK decided to increase the status of handling allegations of corruption at PT Taspen (Persero) from an investigation to an investigation. Antonius NS Kosasih who is the main director is inactive is a suspect in this case.
