MV Agusta Launches F3 Competitionone, Only 300 Units Available
JAKARTA - Two-wheeled vehicle manufacturer from Italy, MV Agusta inaugurated the launch of a supersport motorbike called F3 Competizione which has a racing track-focused performance.
Reporting from Motorcyclenews, Monday, November 4, this F3 RR-based motor is equipped with aggressive elements such as a winglet mounted on the side coupled with the latest IMU system, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and exotic rear wheel designs.
This winger already exists in the model and is claimed to produce a downforce of 8 kg on the front at a speed of about 240 km/hour.
According to the manufacturer, F3 Competizione weighs 14 kg lighter than the RR version. This is thanks to special track kit equipment, including non-homologated Akrapovic exhaust systems, bike covers, fiberglass seat covers, and authenticity certificates. Each model will be given a production number thus showing an exclusive impression for its customers.
MV Agusta also has a set of fully tunable inverse fork Ohlins NIX30 43 mm, coupled with the back shock of Ohlins TTX36. Then, the back is fully tuned with a long-range piggyback controller covered with a black one-sided swingarm.
The control side of the F3 Competitionone is equipped with an adjustable 19-stage Ohlins steering damper. This is accompanied by a full suspension package which is said to be able to cut the weight of 1 kg compared to the standard Marzocchi fork and the Sachs shocks setup in the RR.
This motorbike is equipped with a carbon wheel that reduces the mass of 3 kg of unsprung compared to standard aluminum, as well as adds to the dynamics of driving on the circuit.

The braking section relies on a four-piston radial Brembo at the front, coupled with a pair of 320 mm disks. This Kaliper is covered by a front carbon spatbor with a channel for cooling.
MV Agusta F3 Competitione is equipped with a 3-cylinder 798 cc engine which has a power of 157 dk at 13,500 rpm. Despite its high performance, this machine has met Euro5+ homologation.
Adding to the engine refinement are nine assist disks and slipper clusters, which also reduce the power needed to pull the left lever by 50%.
Motorcycles focused on this race track are only available as many as 300 units and will be assembled by experts from the Varese, Italian factory at an unannounced price. As an illustration, the F3 RR is priced at 21,700 pounds (Rp445.7 million).
