Persik Kediri Beware Of The Back Line Of PSM Makassar

JAKARTA - Persik Kediri is wary of the back line of the team against PSM Makassar when competing against the host in the continued match of the BRI Liga 1 Indonesia 2024/2025 competition at Batakan Balikpapan Stadium, Monday, November 4.

Persik Kediri coach Marcelo Rospide said that the match against PSM Makassar would be as difficult as other teams. PSM's back line should be watched out for.

There is the figure of PSM Makassar Team Captain Yuran Fernandes who always appears to make it difficult for his team in the green field. Yuran is an eskekutor that must be watched out for.

"Despite being a defender, we know Yuran is their penalty executor and shouldn't let him be free when there is a dead ball situation," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, November 3.

He admitted that Juku Eja's team, nicknamed PSM Makassar, was one of the team with the most stable appearances in the Indonesian League.

"PSM Makassar is a tough opponent and they have proven their quality in the last 3 seasons, always stable and an opponent who is difficult to beat. They also have a quick counter-attack and we must be aware of later," he said.

He admitted that it was not easy in this match. However, the team is always eager to find opportunities so they can steal points later against the visitors.

"Once again there is no easy match in the Indonesian League at this time, every team continues to grow but we also have a target to find points, of course we have to focus for 90 minutes and don't make mistakes ourselves," he said.

He added that Persik's preparation was very good. Despite being saddened by the loss of points while playing at home, he stressed to his foster children to be enthusiastic.

"The preparations against PSM Makassar are going well. Indeed, we have to lose Ousmane Fane who will be absent due to injury. But all other players are ready, of course, the points that were lost at home yesterday we had to look for in this away match," he said.

The following is a list of players brought by Persik Kediri to Balikpapan, including Leo Navachio, Husna Al Malik, Nury Fasya, Dede Sapari, Didik Wahyu, Yusuf Meilana, Hamra Hehanussa, Kiko, Ahmad Agung, Ady Eko, Rohit Chand, Vava Mario, Bayu Otto, Ze Valente, Faris Aditama, Rifki Ray, Hugo Samir, Riyatno Abiyoso, Majed Osman, Ezra Walian, M Khanafi, Ramiro Fergonzi, Zikri Ferdiansyah.
