Persik Kediri Ready To Fight PSM Makassar
JAKARTA - Persik Kediri coach Marcelo Rospide emphasized that his team is in a combat-ready condition against PSM Makassar in the 10th week of Liga 1 Indonesia at Batakan Stadium, Balikpapan, next Monday.
Quoted from the club's official website, Sunday, November 3, 2024, Rospide explained that only midfielder Ousmane Fane had to miss the match due to injury.
"Preparations against PSM Makassar are going well, indeed we have to lose Ousmane Fane who will be absent due to injury. But all other players are ready, of course the points that were lost at home yesterday we had to look for in thisaway match," said Rospide, as quoted by Antara.
In the match, of course, Persik Kediri tried to secure points after losing 0-2 to Persib Bandung in the previous week at home.
The Brazilian coach explained that the match against PSM Makassar would be difficult and one of the team with the most stable performances in Liga 1 this season.
Rospide continued that Persik Kediri should be wary of PSM Makassar players who have the ability to make it difficult for Persik Kediri in the match later.
He also mentioned one name that should be watched out for in the PSM Makassar squad, namely Yuran Fernandes because the last few matches have become important players from the Juku Eja team.
"PSM Makassar is a tough opponent and they have proven their quality in the last 3 seasons, always stable and an opponent who is difficult to beat. They also have a quick counter-attack and we must be aware of later," explained Rospide.
"Despite being a defender, we know Yuran is their penalty executor and shouldn't let him be free when there is a dead ball situation," he continued.
"Once again there is no easy match in the Indonesian League at this time, every team continues to grow but we also have a target to find points, of course we have to focus for 90 minutes and don't make mistakes ourselves," he concluded.
