Indonesia Masters 2024: Red And White Are One Title Key

JAKARTA The Indonesian mixed doubles sector has definitely secured one title from the Indonesia Masters II Super 100 2024 after four representatives broke through the semifinals.

The last ticket was secured by Verrell Yustin Mulia/Priskila Venus Elsadai after overcoming the resistance of representatives of Malaysia, Liew Xun/Go Pei Kee, with a score of 21-17 and 21-18 on Friday, November 1, 2024.

The victory made up for their failure last week when it was stopped in the quarter-finals of the Indonesia International Challenge 2024 due to losing to compatriots, Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwan.

The negative result succeeded in motivating them in this BWF Super 100 event. The second seed was able to rise and stop their opponent within 39 minutes.

"Today we played more focused on being able to achieve maximum results. We are trying to show our best," Verrell said in a statement received.

Verrell/Priskila will next face their compatriot Marwan Faza/Aisyah Salsabila Putri Pranata in the semifinals on Saturday, November 2, 2024.

Marwan/Aisyah qualified for the semifinals after beating compatriots, Zaidan Arrafi Awal Nabawi/Jessica Maya Rismawardani, through a tight rubber game 22-20, 18-21, and 21-13.

The other semifinal parties in the mixed doubles will bring together Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu against Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah.

Last week at the Indonesia International Challenge 2024, the mixed doubles sector also secured four representatives in the semifinals so that they automatically won one title.

Overall, at the Indonesia Masters, the Red-White team has 12 representatives in the semifinals. In addition to mixed doubles, clashes between Indonesian representatives will also occur in men's singles and women's doubles.

In the men's singles number, there were three representatives to the semifinals. Pradka Bagas Shujiwo and Alwi Farhan met each other and Yohanes Saut Marcellyno who will meet representatives of Malaysia, Sholeh Aidil.

Next, in the men's doubles there are two representatives. They are Raymond Indra/Patra Harapan Rindorindo and last week's Indonesia International Challenge champion, Rahmat Hidayat/Yeremia Rambitan.
