"Our target for exports to Vietnam is 5,000 units a year," he said with optimism.

As a first step, 120 units of the Omoda 5 SUV were delivered in the first batch. Chen believes that futuristic design, tough performance, and advanced features promoted by Omoda 5 will attract consumers in Vietnam.

"We believe that Omoda 5 will be well received by Vietnamese consumers," he added.

However, Chen did not provide specific details regarding the difference in this left steering model. He only emphasized that each market has adjusted specifications. "It is difficult to compare specifications directly because there are differences for each country," he explained.
