Banda Neira Reborn After 8 Years, Ananda Badudu: Like Returning Home

JAKARTA - Banda Neira agreed to have a second chance since disbanding in 2016. Ananda Badudu, the founder and personnel of the group were touched by the moment of their return.

Shortly after disbanding, the duo continued to be urged to one day reunite. Finally in 2024 they came back with their latest full album, Grow and Become with new member, Sasha.

For Ananda Badudu, returning as Banda Neira made her feel the most comfortable. Had to sing songs solo, the biggest acceptance occurred when she returned to her 'home'.

"Here I am accepted as it is. I am not required to be good, I am not required to be someone else. It is like returning home and being accepted as it is," Ananda said in a Spaces broadcast on X, November 1.

The response he received when releasing the new album felt very warm. He was touched by emotion with the support given.

"When the album was heard, the people were very kind. Hearing the response made me want to cry, it was happy," he explained.

Through the album Grows and Becomes, Banda Neira tries to capture phenomena that occur in life from the perspective of people in their 30s. The positive spirit is trying to be conveyed from track to track arranged according to the phase faced.

"On this album, I want to make my life as beautiful as a poem that encourages and makes people dare," he concluded.
